When Trump chose to purchase Miss USA back in 1997, many wondered what changes he would make to the pageants. He responded by saying, “I’m going to get the bathing suits to be smaller and the heels to be higher.” Later that evening, he decided to further showcase his respect for women in one final comment: “If you’re looking for a rocket scientist, don’t tune in tonight, but if you’re looking for a really beautiful woman, you should watch.” Source

2. When he referred to women as beautiful piece[s] of ass:

In 1991, when speaking to Esquire magazine, Donald Trump commented on women in the press: “You know, it doesn’t really matter what [they] write as long as you’ve got a young and beautiful piece of ass.” Source 

3. When his “locker room talk” was leaked:

In 2005, Donald Trump was caught on tape saying, “You know I’m automatically attracted to beautiful—I just start kissing them. It’s like a magnet. Just kiss. I don’t even wait. And when you’re a star, they let you do it. You can do anything. Grab them by the pussy.” Source I, personally, cannot think of a more respectful and consensual way to approach a woman. Those who challenged his comment were met with an excellent response from Trump: “Yes, I’m very embarrassed by it. I hate it. But it’s locker room talk, and it’s one of those things. I will knock the hell out of ISIS. We’re going to defeat ISIS. ISIS happened a number of years ago in a vacuum that was left because of bad judgment. 5. When he made comments about Kim Kardashian’s pregnant physique:

In 2013, Trump told Showbiz Tonight, “She’s really a nice person. She’s gotten a little bit large. I don’t think you should dress like you weigh 120 pounds.” Then, he announced on the Howard Stern Show, “Does she have a good body? No. Does she have a fat ass? Absolutely.” Source

6. When he blamed his divorce with Ivana on her career ambitions:

Trump explained in an interview in 1994 that the circumstances behind his divorce with Ivana were quite understandable: “There was a great softness to Ivana, and she still has that softness, but during this period of time, she became an executive, not a wife… You know, I don’t want to sound too much like a chauvinist, but when I come home and dinner’s not ready, I’ll go through the roof, OK?” Ivana, how dare you insult your husband by making him cook his own food. But rest assured, as Sarah Sanders put best, “Only if your mind is in the gutter would you have read Trump’s tweet as suggesting Gillibrand would perform sexual acts for campaign donations.” Shame on you for even insinuating that Trump would ever say something sexist towards a woman. After thorough research, I can confidently say that Donald Trump does, in fact, respect women more than anyone. This President’s Day, I am excited to celebrate and honor the man who has given more to women than any other president in American history.
