The Human Barbie is Against Feminism

I know we have talked about women who want to be like Barbie and have no brain, but real-life-Barbie, Valeria Lukyanova, has announced this week that she is against feminism and is a racist. When I was looking around on the Internet I found out about this stupidity here. In a very controversial interview with GQ Magazine this sad excuse of a person stated, “The very idea of children brings out this deep revulsion in me…I’d rather die from torture because the worst thing in the world is to have a family lifestyle.” But she went on to add that, “I’m against feminism…what would you keep the children for? So they can get you a glass of water when you’re on your deathbed?” I would like to point out that feminism has nothing to do with having children. Feminism is about a woman’s personal choice, if a woman wishes to be a mother or a woman does not want to be a mother, either choice is perfectly acceptable. A woman does not need to have children and having kids is not for everyone. Lukyanova’s ignorance represents how a lot of people think. I hope that people who read her interview in GQ realize how unaware she is. Not only did Lukyanova go into detail about how she is against feminism but how she is a racist.

According to Lukyanova people are resulting to plastic surgery due to interracial relationships. She said, “For example, a Russian marries an Armenian, they have a kid, a cute girl, but she has her dad’s nose. She goes and files it down a little, and it’s all good. Ethnicities are mixing now, so there’s degeneration, and it didn’t used to be like that…” The human Barbie went on to note, Remember how many beautiful women there were in the 1950s and 1960s, without any surgery? And now, thanks to degeneration, we have this. I love this Nordic image of myself. I have white skin; I am a Nordic type-perhaps a little Eastern Baltic, but closer to Nordic.” This makes me so angry on so many levels. There is nothing wrong with being mixed or being in an interracial relationship. People who are bi-racial should not feel the need to have plastic surgery so that they can look white. Also everyone is beautiful and being biracial has not made the human population less attractive. Furthermore Lukyanova’s idea of degeneration is simply nonexistent. This stupidity infuriates me and Lukyanova needs a reality check.

The human Barbie is appalling to me on so many levels, however maybe there is a method to GQ’s madness of letting her opinions be publicized. I will play devils advocate in the fact that GQ wanted her opinions to be heard to empathize her ignorance that many people share negative beliefs about feminism and race as well. Her interview shows how ignorant people can be and that there is nothing wrong with interracial relationships and that feminism does not mean you need to have children. Do you think that her GQ interview should have been or not been published? Why or why not? Also do you disagree or agree with me that by GQ publishing Lukyanova’s very controversial opinions it was a way of showing ignorance and how it needs to be changed or was rather enforcing it? I would love to know!

I just can’t abide stupidity. Did you see this article in Nat Geo? It’s showing what we will look like in 50 years–and every one of these people is better looking than this fake:

Whateverisinthekitchen I too can not abide stupidity. I have not looked at the article on Nat Geo but have heard a lot about it. Hopefully the human barbie has received a lot of criticism directly and will learn that ignorance and racism are unacceptable. Thanks for the read and for your feedback!
