Senator Harris Eats Up VP Mike Pence in the Veep Debate

Going into this, the first thing I thought was “good luck to this white man because I don’t think he has ever had a debate, let alone a thorough conversation with a Black woman.” And not to toot my own horn, but it seems that thought was warranted. This blog post is going to be an atypical one from me, but I decided to analyze this veep debate live. So here are my thoughts:

Does this man have pink eye??

Senator Harris said “I’m speaking”, and now I’m wheezing. But here’s food for thought, she didn’t say “I’m speaking” once or twice, but she said it more than plenty throughout the hour and a half. And throughout the debate she ate him up and then some.

Harris brought up Bob Woodward and COVID-19 without hesitation and Pence did not have much to say about Woodward afterwards. However, Pence did take some time to spew nonsense about saving hundreds of thousands American lives because travel from China was banned…but my guy, it’s a pandemic (as in the entire world, not just China) and over 210,000 Americans have died because of your administrations poor response to said pandemic. Harris continues to eat him up…”respecting the American people is about telling them the truth.” And boy is she right, because this administration has lied and lied and lied. She then goes on and says, “I will take a vaccine if the health professionals approve of it, but ain’t taking it if Donald Trump alone approves of it.” And I felt that on another level. Because again, this administration has lied and lied and lied.

Ion like how Pence addressed Susan Page (the debate’s moderator) with his tone and that glare, just to go back to an already settled point…man this VP’s ego is ridiculous. And I’m not going to hold you, I didn’t even bother to listen to the point that he made (let alone remember it) because of how disrespectful he was to Susan. But I know one thing for sure, and it’s that he loves the sound of his voice. I just know he is fed up that Senator Harris is eating him up; must be why he feels the need to backtrack and make whatever point he made “clear”. Her notes during the debate must be reading him for filth lmaoo.

Pence did not answer the question about the President’s healthcare (there was just a lot of fluff and she is just cheesing and I know she got some words. She had words. The words seemed to encapsulate how many American’s felt disgruntled toward the cheese doodle’s healthcare compared to most Americans. On another note, I really don’t understand why he continues to compliment Harris but has interrupted her at least three times thus far. But to top it all off he’s lying on her??

I felt Harris’ frustrations through the television screen, having to talk to this grown man like a three year old. He clearly doesn’t know anything about climate change, and is telling extremely misleading facts. Yet her composure is refined; she seems to be able to navigate her way under pressure without falling into the stereotype of the “angry Black woman”. It seems that Pence continues to try to get a rise out of her since he is the only one on the stage losing their composure.

Okay, but how many times does Susan gotta say “thank you Vice President”. It’s very telling of the nature of Pence and the entirety of the Trump administration in pertinence to their misogynistic nature. Maybe the moderator for the next presidential debates should be women, so see how the candidates refer to women in charge of asking critical questions that the entire nation is wondering. Because this was dusty.

 Harris is fact checking this bald eagle look alike up and down. She really gave a history lesson.

I don’t like how they used Breonna Taylor as a talking point to push their political agendas, especially Pence. This white man ain’t got no idea about systemic racism (because he benefits from it) and alluded that it doesn’t exist, but American’s probably didn’t even notice it because . When asked “did Breonna Taylor get justice?” he basically replied “the justice system works”. I’m tired of listening to this reanimated sea cucumber.

Senator Harris, sis, please don’t talk about your record as Attorney General. She talked about it without an apology :(. I wanna root for you and I’m gonna root for you, but the reservations that I have toward your record (need I go on). Granted, I love how you reclaimed your time, but still.

How is he gonna ask Senator Harris to answer his personal question, yet he hasn’t answered a single one asked of him by Susan?? She isn’t obliged to answer a thing to you, if you can’t even do it with Susan.

Anyways Harris ate Pence up and then asked for a second helping.
