HannahGrace is super jealous of one three-year-old’s computer whiz dad who hacked Donkey Kong, making it possible for her to play as the princess and save Mario. Props to this dad for staying up all night to make sure his daughter felt fair gender representation in her favorite video game!

kate came across this article and was very disturbed that people in the fashion magazine industry was doing this. Its about using white women to represent other ethnicities instead of using women of that race to make a point.

ShamelessFem was slightly appalled when she stumbled across a Jezebel article that has the key to the success of your romantic relationships.  Apparently all you have to do is find a man that is exactly 4 years and 4 months older than you…so that’s what I’ve been doing wrong.

FemOnFire found this article about the Stubenville rape trial that calls for a better discussion of consent after seeing the transcript from the case and realizing that many bystanders were uncomfortable with what was happening, but didn’t feel empowered enough to step up.

kelly j found this photo was under the caption of “how to boost women in sports”. She thought that the picture alone was more than degrading to athletic women, but then to caption it as “helping women” made her even more mad. Thought the topic of women in sports is forever controversial, this picture does not help!
