I came across this blog post yesterday that was too good to pass up. This is a well-written, engaging post that explains to men why women need to be precautious to maintain our own safety, and gives some guidelines to guys so they can be sure to make a woman feel safe when they approach her.

Thanks for the llink to that blog! It is ridiculous that men need to be reminded of this-or for the really long gone ones-told this for the first time! In my opinion-if I were afraid I’d end up in a river at the end of the date I wouldn’t bother going. I hate the whole song and dance some of us play with men. For me the dance was over a long time ago:) I live in nyc and guys do this everyday to me. While in Brooklyn recently-a guy tried to get me in his car! He kept saying “I have to talk to you!” I ignored him and kept walking. That’s not the first time that has happened and unfortunately it will not be the last. Imagine how men would feel if everyday-they would be treated like this. There’d be an outrage! I can’t believe how much us women suffer in silence..It’s up to us to break the silence!!!
