Just a quick hit… here’s a beautiful video of our secretary of state, the first female presidential candidate, an incredible woman, telling queer youth that “tomorrow will be better.”
Seriously, I think it is incredibly important that someone of her stature in the U.S. government is addressing this issue. I think she’s just incredible, and I’m totally about to cry in the middle of the library (in part because I just began the first chapter of Rebecca Traister’s Big Girls Don’t Cry, and I’m still bitter that she lost the election, despite the fact that I do like Obama).
