Clinton, Rice, and the Infamous Wiki Leaks

Hillary Clinton, Secretary of State and also former First Lady has gotten herself into a bit of trouble.  As Wiki Leaks has published, Hillary Clinton had American officials spy on high-ranking United Nations diplomats, British representatives, the 5 permanent security council members: China, Russia, France, and the UK, and the UN Secretary General Ban Ki-Moon.  American officials obtained DNA data including iris and fingerprinting scans, along with credit card and frequent flier numbers.  They also tracked work schedules, fax numbers, website identifiers and mobile numbers, passwords, and encryption keys of all those previously stated.  However, Clinton did not do this alone, she received these orders from former U.S. Secretary of State Condoleeza Rice.  But this is rarely spoken of.

Here’s the first issue:  due to the 1946 UN convention on privileges and immune states, the UN or its officials cannot be searched, requisite, confiscated, expropriated, by anyone, including Clinton and Rice.

The second thing:  Why the hell did Clinton listen to Rice?  The Bush Administration is not a place to look to for guidance, particularly on global affairs.  Now, Clinton is being asked to resign and Clinton is contemplating if she should.  It says in UN law this is unacceptable behavior so it is not something you can go at the end and say, “Oh, I didn’t know.”  Well, if you didn’t know maybe you shouldn’t be in office.  Though I believe she knew what she was doing.

Thanks ladies for cracking the glass ceiling, but playing the game like a man and then getting caught.  (Nixon memory here.)

So as of now, Clinton is scavenging for phone calls with officials across the world to warn them about the release of Wiki Leaks cables and to apologize for her misconduct.

The second issue:  remember when President Obama received his Noble Peace Prize for his efforts to strengthen international diplomatic relationships?  Oops, now it’s a slap in his face not only because of Clinton, but also because of what may come out as more Wiki Leaks are published.  So, let’s see what happens in the 2012 elections.

Now, I do believe this information should be revealed and allow transparency between the government and corporations (Wiki Leaks have information on corporations too), even at President Obama’s expense.  It’s time the people know what exactly is going on.

Here is the actual website for Wiki Leaks: http://wikileaks.org/

Good luck in actually being able to access it, the government has overloaded the site to where very few individuals can access it.
