Troubles in Finding a Roommate

In considering my move to Harrisonburg after graduation, my mom was like I don’t want you living by yourself. In my head, it would be way easier to find an apartment just by myself. I knew my mom usually knows what is best, so I started up the grueling roommate’s search process. This required me to use Facebook groups to find students to meet with who could be my future roommates. After many, many meetings, I found a roommate and an approving apartment. She only wanted to lease for the fall when I needed a whole year’s lease. It taught me to ask more questions and put more details into my Facebook profile. I have finally reached a point where I have not only found a roommate but after multiple apartment tours, I found a place to live in Harrisonburg, my new hometown.
