Hey everyone! Just a quick reminder that tomorrow, as part of the Reproductive Justice Film Series, the JMU Women and Gender Studies Program will be showing Jane: An Abortion Service.
The film profiles the abortion service which operated in Chicago during the late 1960s and early 1970s, when abortion was illegal. It consists primarily of interviews with many of the women who worked with the service. An introduction will be given by Dr. Emily Westkaemper of the History Department.
It’s at 6:30 in Keezell G8 tomorrow (Thursday) night!!! I hope you can all make it!
